I got my computer to work again!

haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

1-2-10

it's on.

12-29-09

YO. This has been a pretty good year, and a pretty

CRAZY decade!  Let's keep it rocking for 2010

and let's keep it rocking for the next decade in

general, baby!!

12-24-09

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!   Spread love baby

12-22-09

There have been some problems with my computer adapter and

battery.  The battery is dead, and my adapter has gotten really hot

and melted.  It's a bummer!  Soon, it will be all be fixed,

and I won't have to try and update the site with only html code.

I'll be back soon.  I just performed in The Dinner Plan, and at another

show I performed with some puppets that I made.  It was just

Alena and I performing.  I liked having a scaled down, portable

version of my show.  Peace.

10-11-09

I added some more movie reviews.  In November, I will be

acting in The Dinner Plan again for two nights:  November

6th and 12th.  If you missed it the first run, now is your

chance to check it out!  If you saw it and were really into it,

here's your chance to see it again!

9-18-09

YO.  The play I am acting in, called The Dinner Plan, is

coming up soon.  If you have not bought tickets already,

there is bad news for you: both shows are sold out.  I am

excited that the theatre is going to be full the whole time,

but if you wanted tickets and could not get them I'm

bummed for you.  Another performance of The Dinner Plan

might be added on to the run, but I'm not sure right now.

Other than that, I'm just writing new things and getting

ready to film some stuff I wrote in November.

8-24-09

The 52nd Street Project show was very cool.  It was

most definitely something you would call "John

Blaze".  Everybody really let the good times roll!  Like I

said before, it is an awesome program, and you should

check out one of their shows if you have not already.

They are weeks away from moving into their own brand

new space with tons of rooms, their own elevator, a

cool box office booth by the entrance, and best of all,

their own cutting edge theatre!!!!!!!!!!

Now I am going to act in a play called The Dinner Plan.

I did not write it,  Phil Jackson did!  The show goes up

on September 25th and 26th (that's a Friday and  a

Saturday).  Check it out.  I am looking forward to this.

Details are in the Performance Section.

8-17-09

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!  This

weekend I'm performing in a show with the 52nd Street

Project.  We all just got back from rehearsing in

Wareham, Massachusetts in this  R A D  beach house

for one week.  It was really massive, man.  It's going to

be a great show!  The kids, adults, and staff are all

amazing folks.  The entire evening will be John Blaze.

Details are in the Performance Schedule section.

8-8-09

I had a very fun time performing at Center Stage!  I'll

be doing another show soon!

8-1-09

There will be a performance this friday!!!! (8-7)  Check the

performance schedule for details.  I'm excited for this.

Also, in the future I will be acting in a play written by Phil

Jackson.  Performances for that will be near the end of

September.  That's it for now.  Oh, if you want to, go to

this page.

7-1-09

MAN I had a great time these last two weeks.  It was

very fun performing in the backyard Saturday.  I felt

free during this show.  When I felt like screaming I did,

and it felt very good.  Naomi Thornton, Lisa Clair,

Franco Bulaon and Phil Jackson were in it with me.  I

thought they all did a very good job.  Their acting was

superb and exciting to me.  I enjoyed the environment

of backyart.  A good crowd turned up to this show,

and it was cool.  My friend J. Anthony Roman was

reading his work that night too.  It's always exciting

when he's around sharing his writing.  I do not know

when I will do another show yet.  If theatres take long

to respond to me, I will find a non-traditional venue to

do another show in a month or two.

Here is a video of Michael Jackson in his prime.  I

think he is at the top of his game with fashion, music,

and focus in this interview.  He is hanging out with

Quincy Jones on a couch showing off his pet snake

"Muscles".  Later, he performs and hangs out with

Diana Ross.  This is how I will always remember him:

legendary and really, really, really, really, really cool.

6-27-09

Show tonight!  Check the performance section.

6-26-09

Damn, damn, damn, damn, damn.  R.I.P.  King of Pop.

Michael Jackson.  He was the master of music,

performance, and fashion.  He pushed it to the limit,

as far as any human being could.  He made a dent in

the world.  He shook the WHOLE WORLD.  Right when

he passed, he broke the internet (twitter, google, and

many, many other sites got rocked with visitors)  His

music is being played everywhere now.  He was damn

cool.  He was the MOTHER F-ING MAN.  I will

remember him for wearing amazing outfits, dancing

on top of cars, and making some of the greatest music

ever made, spreading joy worldwide.  If aliens come to

this planet, they would love his music too.  Remember

when the premier of a Michael Jackson video would

be the most important thing on television?  It seemed

that every channel would be airing it at once.  It was

awesome.  I saw his movie Captain EO at Disney

World and it blew my mind.  The same with The Wiz

and the Moonwalker movie, and pretty much every

music video he made.  He could entertain like nobody

else, so it's strange to even picture him dying.  Even

his last album, Invincible is awesome.  That album and

HIStory are underrated!  People should not make fun

of this man.  He obviously made mistakes, of course

he did, but he had problems, and I think he did the

best he could.  I hope he is  in a better place now.  He

had a pretty tough, crazy life.  What a legend.  RIP.

6-23-09

I had an amazing time out in Vermont.  The show went

very well.  The kids who put this whole thing on were

really awesome!  The people out there were some of

the nicest folks I have ever met.  While I was there I

saw a ghost, and even the ghost was nice!  The whole

time I was there, I only saw one police officer drive by

in a car, and I only saw one person who was pissed

off.  The air was clear and sweet, almost like milk!  I

would definitely go there again, and I would

recommend this awesome place to anyone.

This Saturday I'm participating in this fun show called

backYart.  You should check out their blog.  My friend

J. Anthony Roman is going to read a chapter from a

book he wrote, and I have three things I'll perform with

Lisa Clair and Franco Bulaon.  The specifics are in the

performance section.  It's going to be another fun

weekend for sure.

6-11-09

Exciting times are ahead:  This weekend there's

going to be a show in Carroll Gardens.  It's made by

my friend Lisa Clair (she played Mom in my last

show, Emotional Lightning).  If you don't know, she's

a great writer and actor!  It should be lots of fun.  I

wrote a small part of the show.  I'm in the show

Saturday, and my friend Franco plays the part on

Friday.  Both nights should be pretty awesome.

Regarding Trains

Friday June 12th and Saturday June 13th

Time: 8 PM

Location:   Brooklyn Transit Garden

on the Corner of Smith St. and 2nd Street

                   Carroll Gardens Brooklyn

Price: Free

After that, my play Follow Your Dreams (Woah

Mama) will be performed in Montpelier, Vermont.  If

you are in Vermont, you should come and check it

out- I think it's going to be pretty exciting.   It's being

performed by a group of young people.  I think they

really know what the deal is.  The show goes up on

the 20th.  I'll be there having a blast.

After that, on Saturday the 27th I might be

performing at a show in Williamsburg called

backYart.  It is exactly what you think it is:  a show

in the backyard of a pretty cool house.  This should

be fun too.  It's not set in stone yet though, so

maybe there will not be  a show.  Right now, nobody

knows.

5-24-09

New movie reviews have been added.

5-19-09

Virgin Megastore is closing, so I decided to

do a little shopping there.  The prices were still

high for a place going out of business, but I

managed to find a weird Bob Dylan album

from 1985 called Empire Burlesque for $5.00

This album is CRAZY!  So many aspects of

it are dated.  There are a bunch

of songs with drum machines and synthesizers,

and the production sounds the same as 1980's

Fleetwood Mac & Stevie Nicks songs.  There are

backup singers too.  The song "Tight Connection

To My Heart" has a great video you should see.

5-8-09

I added some more movie reviews.  Sooner or

later, they will all be up there.  I watch a lot of

movies.  Right now I want to tell you something

personal and emotional. Sometimes, I feel bad

for slamming some of the movies.  I feel remorse

because somebody else really busted their ass

making it.  Listen, I still respect all the hard work

that goes into making movies- even the ones I

slam and say stink like trash in a heatwave.

Maybe you can follow my advice when you rent a

DVD with a loved one.  Maybe you can use this

advice when you want to watch a movie with

some of your co-workers.  If not, it really doesn't

matter.

5-7-09

Oh yeah!

I saw this video somebody named Hamcane

made for the Beck song "Timebomb".  I like

this one.

4-8-09

I just finished writing a play.  It's a psychedellic

play about Pizza, Ghosts, and the president.

There are some songs in it.  The working title is

"Follow Your Dreams (Woah Mama)"

It will be performed in June, in Vermont,

by homeschoolers.  I'm very excited about this!

I also have other new things completed.  These

other things will be shown once I find a space.

That's probably going to happen in the late summer.

Look at these:

3-3-09

Superb.

2-14-09

WOAH

"Snitching 3"

Snitching 3 will be performed

as a short introduction to my

friend Anthony's show called:

No Matinees: SUPPLEMENTAL

The Players Theater:
115 MacDougal Street
(Btw.West 3rd and Cafe Wha?)
$12

It's going to be cool.

12-21-08

WOAH MAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The show was a lot of fun!  There was

a good turnout despite the crummy

weather.  I had a real blast this time.

The cast was awesome- they really

did it this time! This show  was filmed so

there will be a video of it one of these days.

As for the future, well, we'll see what

happens.  I'm hoping to do have another

show ready for when it starts to get warm

again.  My plan is to make that show crazy.

Right now I'm going to be in my friends

shows: my friend Lisa Clair wrote a play

called Love Monster, and there's going to

be a reading on the 19th.  My friend Anthony

is doing a show called

"No Matinees: supplemental" on January 9th.

12-19-08

COUNTDOWN: 0 DAYS {TODAY!}

The show is still on, of course.  Forget

about the snow shower.  You can warm

up at the show.  Listen:   It's going

to be really cool!

12-15-08

COUNTDOWN: 4 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The show is coming up so soon: December 19th!

It's going to be a great time.  We just had a rehearsal

today.  The cast is superb-  I'm talking about every

single person in the cast.  Every person on that flyer is

going crazy in the play.  I like them.  They've all been

struck by that lightning.  This is going to be a

special show- a fundraiser for the school my mother

started.  If you can make it, you're in for a treat.  Here is

an example of emotional lightning:

11-19-08

Here are the details of the next show

[[[[E M O T I O N A L

 L I G H T N I N G]]]]

It is a fundraiser for the Children's

Workshop School.  All of the proceeds

will go towards the 5th graders trip to

Washington DC!!!  Despite this great

fact, the show is not intended for kids.

There are no kids in the show.

There are adult themes, so it is not

a good idea for them to attend.

There will be all sorts of snacks and

refreshments at this show (part of the

fundraiser).

The show is in two parts:  Part one will

be the show "It's Crazy Sometimes".

Part two will be "Emotional Lightning".

Jed continues to write and write and write.  Nobody

knows when his next show will be.  In the mean time,

feel free to browse a new feature on the website: movie

reviews.  Jed has submitted over 300 movie reviews!

He is an opinionated man.   These reviews will be

added to this website in bunches.

Legendary Monologues: Dennis Green

Dennis Green was the coach of the Arizona Cardinals, an NFL

franchise that had been known for loosing as long as it existed

{This team never made it to a Super Bowl}.  This video was shot

on October 16th, 2006.  The Cardinals just suffered a TOUGH loss

to one of the the greatest teams in the league at the time, the

Chicago Bears.  At halftime, the Cardinals were up by 20 points,

but that comfortable lead was gone in less than 20 minutes!

All of this stress caused the normally soft spoken Green to

deliver a superb tirade for the ages, complete with the iconic

phrase "They are who we thought they were"

Dennis Green was most recently working as a color analyst for

ESPN Thursday Night NFL broadcasts, but one can't help but

wonder what type of wonderful plays and monologues this man

could create had he chosen a different path in life.

6-19-08

Legendary Monologues:  Allen Iverson

Allen Iverson is a legendary basketball player who now plays

for the Denver Nuggets.  He delivered this fantastic monologue

after a tough playoff loss in 2002, while still a member of the

Philadelphia 76ers.  His coach at the time, Larry Brown,

criticized Iverson for not showing up to team practices.  It

is hilarious how many times he says the word practice, but

it is also very funny when he says "not a game" repeatedly.

“ He said "practice" more times than he's actually practiced. ”

— Larry Brown speaking to reporters the next day

I had to go to see this documentary

in the Television & Radio museum, but now

part of it is on youtube.  It is pretty quiet but it's good.

S I Z Z L A ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

We are in the middle of a heat wave here in New York City.

Crazy people are delivering their seasonal rants in dramatic

fashion.  Some stubborn folks are still wearing long sleeves,

cardigans, hoodies and knit hats! I saw an organized street fight

in Union Square park.  It was strange to me.  Honestly, I turn to

Gatorade during times like these.  If you like the taste of grape

Quarter Water, I recommend the grape flavored Gatorade Fierce.

If you are new to Gatorade, why not try their crisp lemonade

flavor?  If you do not like Gatorade, there is another strong

option:  coconut water, the original thirst quencher.  Also of

course, there is nothing bad you could say about a tall glass of

water.  Here are more things from You Tube that I enjoy:

to put these videos on because they are some of his favorites:

two different performances of "Periodico De Ayer" by Hector

Lavoe and the song "Nevers" by the Fiery Furnaces played

both forwards and backwards {he loves the backwards part}.

Here are the details from the 4-17 show at the PIT!!!    Jed

told me that he had fun. "The whole entire cast performed

very well.  The PIT has a nice backstage area.  When you're

doing a show with just two other people backstage at a time,

it's really spacious.  The temperature was nice inside, but I

was still very thirsty during the show.  I kept on chugging cups

of water backstage when I wasn't performing.  I kept putting my

face under the water faucet like a crazy person or a dog!! ha ha

ha.   I enjoyed acting in things I did not write.  I haven't done that

in a little while.  I wish that I could have sat and watched part of

the show.  I'd rather do that then just wait backstage."  Stay

tuned for details on the next show!
